About GM Group
The GM Group of Companies began its journey in 1958, founded by Late Mr. G. Mallikarjunappa, Honourable Member of Parliament from Davangere, Karnataka. Starting as a modest venture in Bheemasamudra, Chitradurga district, trading in betel nut under G. Mallikarjunappa & Sons, the Group grew steadily through dedication, integrity, and vision.
Over the decades, the GM Group diversified into multiple sectors including healthcare and hospitals, sugar, mining, education, power generation, agro-based industries, finance, hospitality, accommodation, and retail. Today, it is regarded as one of South India's most respected business groups.

His foresightedness can be well depicted by his ventures which span from agriculture and education to power. c Mr. Mallikarjunappa was the Honourable Member of Parliament, from Davangere, Karnataka. The Group though is a family run organization but it has its deep roots in Chitradurga district, Karnataka. In the past five decades the group has ventured into Healthcare, mining, sugar industry, power, education, hospitality, banking and finance, import and export businesses.
Shri. G. Mallikarjunappa has been a visionary who believed in upgrading the standard of living of the people. His efforts and reforms to improve the socio-economic conditions of people paid well with better employment opportunities and sustainable infrastructure to the people.
